We can provide a FREE Valuation Service to all clients who use our House/Property Clearance Service.

VALUATION SERVICE

We provide a Paid for Valuation Service for clients who have individual items they are looking to sell through private treaty. By keeping in touch with fluctuations in the market at home and internationally it enables us to give accurate evaluations which would lead to a speedy sale. We also advise on suitable auction houses for the item and can locate possible buyers for items.

INSURANCE VALUATION SERVICE

We provide a Paid for Insurance Valuation Service. We provide written and fully illustrated valuations for insurance on everything from a single item to a full house contents and will provide an inventory, usually within ten working days. By keeping in touch with fluctuations in the market at home and internationally it enables us to give accurate evaluations which would lead to speedy settlements in any insurance claim and assist in the identification and recovery of stolen goods. Our insurance valuations may also help you to reduce your insurance premiums.

FAMILY DIVISION VALUATION SERVICE

We provide a Paid for Family Valuation Service and offer an unbiased valuation service following divorce or for dividing an estate. We will be sensitive and flexible to the needs of both sides while carrying out the valuation. With our assistance difficult situations can be made easier.

VALUATION SERVICE IN MATTERS OF PROBATE

We provide a Paid for Valuation Service in Matters of Probate. We provide an efficient, professional and confidential service to executors of deceased estates. On receiving instruction our valuer will visit and carry out the valuation, from the contents of a small terraced house to a country estate. This initial visit is FREE of charge. We will provide, in duplicate, an inventory, usually within ten working days of the initial visit. If required, items of value can be removed immediately by our in-house removers and stored for safety.

Properties can be cleared, including all items for auction, items of no auctionable value and any personal documentation can be retained, handed back to the executors or destroyed where requested. The choice of an appropriate auction house and negotiation of their fees will also be discussed.

Items such as clothing and items of little value can be sorted and re-cycled or donated to one of our worthy charities. We can also assist in re-housing pets, which often can be a problem if the relatives are abroad or have unsuitable accommodation.

Specific bequests can be identified, valued individually and dispersed accordingly. All saleable goods not bequeathed can be removed and placed into an appropriate auction house or sold direct to one of our many clients who buy such items.

House Clearance Service Information

Browse-a-while Limited provides a House/Property Clearance Service with an initial FREE Site Visit providing Advice and a General Initial Valuation Service on items to all clients.

We clear any size property from modest terraced houses to country estates, including garages, sheds and business premises.

We have a client base of reputable auction houses, collectors and antique dealers that allows us to quickly find potential buyers and avenues for disposal of the items. This enables us to provide you with a speedy service and reduces the costs associated with the services we provide.

The clearances can be as a result of down sizing, just moving home, disposal as part of Probate following the death of a relative, assisting the Executor of a will, disposal following divorce or Family Division Settlements, clearance of items subject to Insurance Claims following a fire or flood or simply where a client is looking to dispose of a collection.

Our initial FREE Site Visit, providing you with advice and a general valuation service, allows you to choose how you want to proceed.

Browse-a-while Limited offers four types of clearance.

1. If you have items that are re-saleable Browse-a-while Limited will buy them from you. This may include the whole contents of a property.

2. If there are re-saleable items but they are of a lower value these can be used to off-set any or all fees involved in the clearing of the property. This may involve Browse-a-while Limited locating buyers for the items or assisting you place the items at the most suitable auction where we will negotiate lower auction fees on your behalf.

3. Where there are no re-saleable items the client is quoted a price for the clearance and disposal of the contents of the property. Our prices are very reasonable and value for your money. An hourly rate or fixed fee can be agreed.

4. A property cleaning service can be added to any one of the above three situations The price and scope of this service can be negotiated when you choose which clearance service you require. The cleaning service can be at an hourly rate or a fixed fee.

Where possible Browse-a-while Limited re-cycle items cleared from a property. This includes donations to charities of your choice.

Items of no re-saleable value are disposed of at local re-cycling centre’s. Any personal documentation is removed and handed back to the executors or sensitively destroyed where requested.

Specific bequests can be identified and dispersed accordingly.
